4 months

I have waited to post this until Hudson went for his 4 month check up so I could give you the stats! He weighs 17lbs. and 13 oz. (90%) and is 26in. long (90%). His head is also 90%! I am sure that means he is going to be extra smart:)!


What is Hudson up to lately?

• went on his first airplane ride to visit Grammie and family for Thanksgiving and did GREAT!
• Still loves to be held and snuggle - I think I put this on here every month but I absolutely love it.
• Started eating cereal just a couple of days ago, but is not so sure about the spoon!
  
• He is wearing 6-9 month clothes and size 2 diapers
• Has really started giggling lots and definitely has tickle spots!

• He is really liking his Bumbo. I think he feels like a big boy being able to sit up and look around.
• Loves the Christmas lights and tree
  

• Hudson also loves his big brother. Kyler is so sweet to him. He likes to make him smile and Hudson thinks most everything Kyler does is pretty funny!

What an amazing blessing both our boys are!

3 Months Old!

I can't believe Hudson is already 3 months old! I am pretty sure I say that every month. He is such a joy to be around and such a content baby! We are so lucky!

What has Hudson been up to???

• He is full of smiles and has started to giggle! It is the best. He definitely has tickle spots and he loves when Daddy does patty-cake with him. I have a video that I will be posting soon. It is pretty funny!
• He has started sleeping through the night! Thank you Hudson:)!
• Mom has went back to work so he started going to daycare...I am pretty sure that has been harder on me than him. He is at a great place and getting lots of loving during the day!
• He loves to spend time on his tummy!
• He has a new activity mat that he likes to spend time on and he loves the lights on the Christmas tree!
• He still eats like a big boy!
• He is still tolerating the paci but he is getting more coordinated with the thumb! I am still thinking the thumb will win:)!

Halloween FUN!

Happy Halloween! Here are some pictures of our sweet boys - the lion and the penguin! Kyler absolutely LOVED trick or treating! He ran from house to house and was all about the candy! He kept saying, "nother one, nother one!" HA! We shared the evening with some of our friends and the kids had a blast! Enjoy the pictures of our evening!

A day at the pumpkin patch...

Yesterday the boys and I went with some friends to the pumpkin patch! We spent the day checking out the animals, playing in corn, going on a hayride, and of course choosing just the perfect pumpkin! Enjoy the pictures of our day...and yes Hudson was with us. He was strapped to me so he didn't get his picture taken!

2 months old

Hudson is 2 months old! It seems like life is settling down and we are getting into some sort of routine. We moved Hudson out of his "chair" he has been sleeping in in our room and he has been in his crib for a week now! It was a smooth transition and he definitely needed the room to stretch out! He is a BIG boy!

2 month stats:
We went to the doctor today for Hudson's 2 month wellness check and shots! I am positively sure the shots are much harder on the Mama! He got a great report!
weight - 14lbs 7oz (95th percentile)
height - 22 1/4 (25th percentile)
head - 16.5in (95th percentile)

What's new?

• Hudson is smiling...there is nothing that makes my heart happier than to see my two boys smile. Kyler loves to get right in his face and beg him to give him some smiles. It is pretty cute!
• Still eating like a champ and I think he may be having a growth spurt because it seems like all he wants to do is eat!
• He loves to be held in a sitting up position so he can check everything out.
  
• He likes to be held and to take walks in the baby bjorn - this is the total opposite of his brother. I may have myself a snuggler!
• He has decided that his swing is not so bad and has spent a lot more time in it!
• I am working really hard with the paci...hoping he will love it! He is working really hard on getting that thumb in his mouth. I think I may lose this battle. Looks like we will more than likely have another thumb sucker on our hands!
• He still grunts some but not as much as he was. He has however found his sweet voice and has started to coo!

So a couple of weeks ago, Justin had to go recruiting in Stillwater so the boys and I took the opportunity to spend the weekend with some of our best friends from college! Go Red Wolves Go!

Well, its that time of year again...football season. Kyler was so excited to wear his new jersey and check out the game. He loves all of it - the band, the players, and of course he thought Howl (the mascot) was pretty cool riding a motorcycle out on the field.
