stuff

So it has been a while since I last posted. Our lives have got kind of crazy in these last couple of weeks. Kyler has now become a VERY good walker and he is getting around really well. This has been a whole new world for us, and we are enjoying his new found independence.
School has started back and we are trying to get back into that routine. I am doing better... only one total breakdown in the middle of the driveway while saying good bye to Kyler.
Note: Kyler just waves and smiles at me! He is much better than I am. Ha!

Birthday Pictures

12 months old!

So today we headed to the doctor for Kyler's one year check up. Can you believe it? My sweet baby is already a year old! I just love every minute of being his mama:)!

He weighed in at 23lbs 12oz (75th percentile). He really has only gained about 2 pounds since he was 6 months old. Ha! He was 30 3/4 inches long (75th percentile) and his head was 19 inches (95th percentile).

So what is Kyler up to lately?

• He is cruising along everything and starting to move fast! He has even taken a couple of steps on his own.
• He started to crawl...finally. He really only crawls to get to a place where he can stand up.
  

• He still loves to eat and will eat ANYTHING you put in front of him. He loves all fruit and is eating mostly table food.
• He is very vocal and is saying a few more words...more, mo (mocha).
  
• He has a new found sense of independence since he has started to move more.
• He is only taking one bottle a day and we are about to be done with it!
• He still sleeps really well and still takes two naps a day!
• He can give raspberries with his mouth!
• He thinks he is so funny and will even fake laugh!
• He loves to dance... anytime there is music he is shakin' it!
• He loves his little green blankie and his thumb.
