Rylan is 5 Months Old!

I am pretty sure this has been the fastest 5 months of my life!  We sure love this sweet little boy and all the joy he is bringing to our family.  I adored Kyler telling him..."Hey big boy, your 5 months old...Happy Birthday!"  He spoke this line ALL DAY LONG, and each time he had the biggest, brightest smile on his face.  Kyler has a sweet heart and it really shows with Rylan!

What has Rylan been up to lately?
  • You are a rollie pollie!
  • You are wearing 9mo clothes.
  • You love shoving your hands in your mouth.
  • You have found your voice and love to "talk".
  • You LOVE your jumper.
  • You smile ALL THE TIME!
  • You are grabbing and holding onto toys.
  • You started eating carrots this week and after a couple days decided they aren't so bad.
  • You have found a love for your carseat...no more crying in the car and you even fall asleep in it now! We may be able to leave the city limits this summer:)!
  • Your eyes are still blue...I know I write this every month but you are my only blue eyed baby!
  • You still don't sleep through the night...which means your momma doesn't either!

It's That Time of Year...

I can not believe we are two months into the season and I haven't posted a single picture!  To say Kyler is OBSESSED with baseball is an understatement.  He loves it.  He comes out of his room in the morning fully dressed in his gear.  This includes baseball pants, jersey, socks, belt, batting gloves and mitt.  This is often times well before 7:00 in the morning.  Right now he wants to be a catcher and spends his days practicing catching, calling pitches, giving signs and blocking balls.  Now this is just part of his day.  He also loves to "smoke balls" and practice sliding.
We are loving every minute of getting to stay home this summer and not travel.  Don't get me wrong, I am going to miss the State College summer weather but it is so nice to be in our own home! A typical game day requires me taking the boys early so hey can hang out Dad and hit in the cages.  Once they are done in the cages, they throw some pitches in the bullpen.  It is most definitely the highlight of their day!

Ummm...might want to try opening your eyes Hud!
