For the boys...

 Here are some new summer things I have been working on!  Check them out...

Hudson is 8 months old!

Hudson is 8 months old today and I can't believe it!  I am absolutely loving this age!  He is so much fun and has such a great personality.

What has H been up to lately?

• He is eating all kinds of fruits and veggie and loving it!  He is still taking bottles but we have started introducing the sippy cup.  He is so funny!  When he puts it in his mouth he make the funniest face!
• His first tooth has popped through on the bottom!

• He LOVES the swimming pool!  He has this floaty that he can sit in and he just lounges back in it and hangs out!  He is constantly kicking his legs!  I definitely need to get some pictures posted of our pool time!  
• He is a mover!  This is the biggest difference between Kyler and Hudson at this age!  Hudson is rolling, scooting, and spinning to get where he needs to go!  He is also getting up on his knees and rocking back and forth!  I think he is getting ready to crawl soon! YIKES!

• He has mastered sitting up!
• He loves to watch Kyler and just like before he thinks he is hilarious!
• He enjoys our morning walks and usually lays back and sleeps!

• He is saying Momma...and is definitely a Momma's boy!  This makes my heart happy:)!
• LOVES his paci!  The other morning when I went to get him out of bed he had one in his mouth and one in his hand!  You can never have too many pacis in the crib!

• Went swinging at the park for the first time.
• He still fights falling asleep...he doesn't want to miss out on anything!

Park Time!

So, since the move to Florida I have been LOVING my days home with my boys.  I have always wanted to stay home with them and for the moment I am able to and I am soaking in every minute of it!
A couple of days ago after nap time we headed to the park for the afternoon.  We live right down the road from a really nice park so it works out great, we hop in the car and are there in 5 minutes tops!  Once we got there, we had not been playing for more than 10 minutes when Kyler ran up to me with this look of panic and told me he had to go to the bathroom.  Okay, no problem, we head over to the bathrooms. When we get there I realize they are locked and you have to have a card to access them.  Apparently only members of the neighborhood have cards.  Okay at this point I am a bit annoyed and thinking this is totally ridiculous.  I have a two year old people and when he has to go he has to go.  So, what does any good mother do?  Yep, you guessed it!  I found the biggest bush, behind the biggest tree and he took care of business!  So, I am sorry residents of Summerfield subdivision...but when a two year old has to go, he has to go!

Hudson absolutely loved the swings!  He giggled the entire time, and was so happy just sitting there looking around!  Kyler spent most of his day going down the big, twisty slide and chasing two little girls around.  I am hoping this is not a sign of whats to come!

Chunky Monkey

So I took this little guy to the doctor yesterday for a check up...

He weighs 22.5 pounds...I knew this, my arms know this everytime I have to haul him around in the carrier carseat. We are so ready to lose that thing! He is also 28.5 inches long. Both of these are off the charts! The Dr. said he is perfect (I knew this too!) As you have already seen in my last post, he is sitting up and he started saying mama! Ohhhh, I love it! We also took him to the beach when Mimi was here visiting and the following pictures say it all about the beach lovers in our family!
