11 Months Old

"I can't believe I'm 11 months old!"

What has Kyler been up to lately?

• He is pulling up on everything and moving around the furniture!
• He has a little walker that he loves to push around the house. (thanks Carissa)
• He has figured out the sippy cup...it took him awhile to figure out that he has to tip it!
• He is picking up everything in his sight and MOST of it goes in his mouth.
• He loves to roll over at night and sleep on his belly.
  
• He says ball which is so cute and pu pu when Mocha comes around.
• He is still really jumpy and loud noises scare him. These include the car wash, loud voices, the air pump to blow up his pool, vacuum... you get the idea!
• Anytime he sees someone eating he wants a bite!
• He loves his swimming pool:)!
• He loves when we sing to him and he likes to play patty cake too.
  

Fun in the Sun

It has been so long since I have posted! Kyler and I have been in Montana for two weeks and it was WONDERFUL! There is no place I would rather be in the summer...now the winter is another story:)! We were able to spend time with both sides of our family which was nice. While we were with Justin's family we celebrated Kyler's birthday (a little early) so they could be there. He got spoiled and was loving the cake!

We got home on Father's Day and Kyler was so excited to see his Dada!


We weren't home for long and we jumped in the car and headed to Tulsa! Justin had to recruit and I couldn't miss the opportunity to catch up with Lauren and Carissa and meet their new boys! I was meaning to get a picture of all three of them and that just didn't happen! I did capture a picture of Jackson and Kyler though!


Since we have been home it has been an absolute oven! We really stay inside most of the day unless we are in the pool for a quick cool down!

Lots of Firsts!

Kyler is 10 months old!

It is so amazing how fast these last 10 months have gone and how much he has changed. He is really starting to look like a little boy as you will see in these pictures.

What has Kyler been up to lately?

• He scoots all over the place on his belly BACKWARDS! Then he gets mad when he can't seem to get to the toy he is going for!
• He is really showing his personality and he is constantly making noise! He is finally starting to say Mama and he is still always saying Dada!
• He loves to stand up and hold onto things especially the ottoman.
• He went to his first MLB baseball game a couple of weeks ago! In our family he better like baseball..HA!
• He is eating lots of new things and really interested in anything we are eating. He loves all sorts of finger foods.
  

So, Kyler had his first trip to the park and he absolutely loved the swings. He giggled the entire time!












Kyler also got his haircut for the first time this week. He really needed it around his ears and in the back. He did such a great job!

My Little Artist...

So, last week Kyler had an art show at the church where he goes to Mother's Day out. It was absolutely wonderful, and yes I was THAT mother with her camera taking pictures of all his art!

Visitors

Uncle Mike and Aunt SaSa came for a weekend to watch baseball and visit us (really it was Kyler)! Ha:)! We spent all of our days at the baseball field. That is not surprising this time of year. We were so happy to see them!

We also had Pete and Liesl come and stay with us for a night. It was so great to get to visit with them as well!

9 months old

It is hard for me to believe that Kyler is already 9 months old. I love watching him grow but I must be honest...it's already going WAY too fast!












What is Kyler up to these days?

• He is getting another tooth on the top and the bottom.
• He is still not interested in crawling!
• He is VERY content all the time and rarely gets upset!
• He still sucks his thumb to help him go to sleep.
  
• He LOVES to eat (like you can't tell)! He has started eating more solid foods.
• He makes lots of noise and has just started fake laughing!
• He is still very ticklish. He will start laughing before you even touch him.
• He is so interested in Mocha!
• He is constantly saying Dada...
• He loves to give his mama kisses!
